Beach Babylon

www.misopeckish.comMy last day of freedom without Sweet Pea before returning back to work. I took the liberty to go further a field and try Beach Babylon, just because there are plenty of free parking (coupon parking along the waterfront)

I dined inside as the day was welcoming me with sunshine where I plonked myself on a free table on some bench seats.

Poached eggs with Halloumi on Potato Rosti was delicious, yet very filling.  The potato rosti was heavier than I had anticipated, as it was deep fried and slightly oilier than I had prefered, where the outer was crunch but the middle.  the Halloumi was  nearly non-existent as I was only given a very thin slice of halloumi.

Flat White – was good and certainly welcoming.

Its great to be back on the cafe scene.    Certainly will return again. not only do they serve some decent food, it is also a family friendly cafe.

Dear reader, do you enjoy dining at a family friendly cafe? or do you try to avoid them?
