La Factoria Plaza Vieja is a very popular establishment located on the corner of Plaza Vieja, offering a selection of beers, cocktails as well as what looked to be quite amazing grilled meat on sticks also known as paradillia from what I saw from other patrons dining there.
La Facotiry Plaza Viea is Havanas only microbrewery which was established by an Austrian company in the early 2000’s. Great setting over looking the Plaza with a live Cuban band playing creating a nice lively atmosphere to relax and unwind over a cold drink.
We ordered a couple of cold drinks after a long day exploring old Havana.
Mojoto – large handles of mojoto.. which was nice and refreshing. Though of all the mojoto’s I have had in Havana, this was the most expensive at 5CUC.
Lemonata Juice – Mr Wasabi was still recovering from his illness so went for a safe light option of a local lemonade.
La Factoria is one of the more expensive places to dine and drink at due to its location in a Plaza and in Historic Havana. If you have money to burn, wanting good atmosphere at tourist prices then try this place out. otherwise there are cheaper places that are worth going to.
Location: Corner San Ignacio and Murralla, Plaza Vieja, Havana, Cuba
