www.misopeckish.comCitron, is one of a number of restaurants within the   Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula resort and is located on the highest level of the resort near the reception.  Citron makes a striking first impression of the views overlooking the resort, the bay and the surrounding mountains.   There are a handful of private dining booths that float out over the hillside.    This restaurant is also used for the buffet breakfast.

Complimentary Snacks of rice crackers and peanuts.

Quang Noodles – Danang noodles which is a flat rice noodle, shrimp, pork, peanuts and rice crackers –  something different to the Pho’s which I have been eating lately.  The noodles was cooked perfectly.  The broth was well seasoned and the accompany meats of the prawns and pork was a delight.

Stir Fried Eggplant, Garlic and Basil – thick sweet, fagrant sauce covered the perfectly cooked egg plant.    I would be happy to order a larger serving of this dish and eat it whole all by myself.

Gnocchi, truffle, duck ragu, caramelised shallots – Quite a heavy dish, and is to be expected from a gnocchi.  this dish sounded nicer than what it was, but never the less it was still quite a nice dish

Pear Tarte Tartin – Perfectly made pastry  which was light and crispy as flaky pastry should be.   The pear was nicely caramelised.  The ice cream was not as creamy as I had hoped, but then again we were in Asia where fresh milk is hard to come by.

Vietnamese Sweet Soup – Mung beans, sticky rice and fresh fruits – I had to go for something Asian, so went for this sweet soup.  similar to Chinese sweet soups, it was delightful.  The soup had a slight ginger scent to it which made it quite freshing.  Happy to eat this over ice cream every day.
