Imperial lane

www.misopeckish.comWandering through the central streets of Auckland CBD in search for a good coffee place with a nice quiet relaxed atmosphere we found Imperial Lane which lies tucked away down along corridor/alleyway between lower Queens Street and Fort Lane.

Imperial Lane is an European inspired  casual dining providing a selection of  sweet and savoury items provided by Elske.   A breakfast/lunch items and a separate evening menu.

The decor has an industrial feel to it which matches well with suits during the week day.  One side houses the food counter/cashier.

While the other side houses the tables and chairs.

Flat White – Nice and strong.  Served at the right temperature.  One of the better places in Auckland serving coffee fit for a Wellingtonian

Hot X Bun – the hot cross bun was soft, delicious. full of fruit and spices.   the staff at Imperial Lane was able to toast the hot x bun as requested.

Will definitely be back to try other patisserie items and coffee.

Location:  7 Fort Street or 44 Queen Street, Auckland CBD
