Phong Vu

www.misopeckish.comLocated deep within the Left Bank Arcade off Cuba Street lies a small Vietnamese restaurant named Phong Vu,   offering a selection of entrees and mains ranging from rice paper rolls, salads, noodle soups, pancakes, dry noodle salads.

We decided to order two noodle soups.  The condiments came out first that included bean sprouts, some Vietnamese herbs, lettuce, lemon and chilli sauce.

Spicy beef and pork noodle soup came with a lot of beef and pork slices and meatballs

Rare Beef noodle soup  – couple slices of beef was all the meat that was included in the dish.  Thought it was a joke… but then for $12.50, what would you be expecting?

Both broth were quite tasty, but it is probably due to the fact that they use a lot of MSG that you can clearly taste in the broth and the fact that I was very thirsty afterwards.

Total cost of two soup noodles came to $25.
